Strings Teacher
0.18 FTE, casual, part-time

Are you a proficient strings player? Have you had a go at sharing or teaching your skills? We are seeking a replacement Strings Teacher to plan, organise and implement our strings program starting beginning of Term 3 until the end of Term 4. The position is casual at first, 7hrs per week, but has the potential to become part-time next year.

Naturally, it is essential that you play a range of strings instruments, violin, cello, bass, viola, read music and have the ability to bring to life, in an artistic way, our strings program for our grade 3-6 students.

Accounts Officer
0.6 FTE, part-time

We are looking for an experienced, number-loving, Accounts Officer to complete our office team working on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

If you have a minimum of Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping, some professional experience and think you could thrive in an environment surrounded by children, then we would love to hear from you.

You need to be able to multi-task and be super organised and flexible. Aside from attending to all things finance, accounts receivable, payable, payroll, funding and reporting, etc, etc, you will find yourself welcoming visitors, answering the telephone, administering first aid and helping with other duties as needed.

School Support Officer
0.6 FTE, part-time

Are you naturally cheerful and find it easy to connect with people from all walks of life? Then we need you. We are looking for an experienced School Support Officer as our first point of call for visitors when they come to our school.

If you have a minimum of Cert IV in Business Administration, some professional experience and think you could thrive in an environment surrounded by children, then we would love to hear from you.

For this role, you need to be able to multi-task and be super organised and flexible. You will be welcoming visitors, answering the telephone, administering first aid and helping with duties other than all things school administration, e.g. student data management, etc, etc.

Casual Relief Teaching

Are you interested in casual relief teaching at Wild Cherry School or Wild Cherry Kindergarten? Do you have current VIT registration and a strong interest or experience in working in a Waldorf/Steiner educational setting?

Prospective Casual Relief Teachers are invited to spend a day observing in our school to see how Waldorf/Steiner education is applied in the classroom. Artistic and musical skills are highly regarded.
